We walked a few miles on the Abandoned Turnpike in Pennsylvania this afternoon. We saw lizards, caterpillars, deer, a bicycler, and a few skateboarding boys. We found the box, but it was out in the tunnel rather than in the block wall. We replaced it in the block wall.
The dog in my picture, Rosie, is two years old. She came to us as a stray a year and a half ago and needs much exercise. The deer we saw today had her way too excited – fortunately she was on a leash, as chasing deer in PA is a shooting offense.
I’ve suggested that I could ride in a cart with our dogs pulling, but wouldn’t know how to steer. Duncan walks along nicely usually, but Rosie runs back and forth, back and forth.
